Since the card is SD'd now that you have received the bonus, j/c what is the long-term outlook that you see, for the card? For example, will you keep it in the SD and open indefinitely? Or plan to close it, somewhere down the line, etc.?
Probably will eventually close it, but there is no rush. Right now, I wll probably use it for very small purchases to keep it open and lower utilization.

That made me laugh. Pay me another $200 and I'll do it again. They keep sendning me mailers- been for months. I have a lot of money with TD. Wonder if that would help my chances of getting a big line. Prob not. Heard they're stingy like they're interests rates. I have accounts with Ally with 1% but it freaks me out using a web bank for large amounts.
I hope they can never read minds...I get offers like this, and I'm thinking...suckers. This is the kind of card that is...extract the bonus..collect lint from sock drawer kind of card. It came with an APR, what was it..who cares? I feel like negotiating that, saying add an extra 100 to that bonus, and you can make that APR 120%. I'm gonna PIF any way. I knew this was a sock drawer card when I took the offer. I might have charged 550 on that card. I'll repeat CC issuers...call me...I can be bribed, really I can. Don't you desire a coveted spot in my sock drawer reserved for your plastic? I'm yo huckleberry!
You just have to be careful about opportunity costs, e.g. if you do this too often, you will exceed 5/24 and thus would not be able to get the Chase CSR, which is potentially much more valuable than several $200 bonus offers. And in general, "too many new accounts" (or inqs) could block you from another super card. But in moderation, yes
Being unable to travel, I don't really care for the CSR. I know there are other ways to extract the benefits, but with the high AF, it is too much trouble.

Yes, but that was just an example, chasing a lot of cards for bonus might deny you one you really want..

Agreed, I think they are on to me anyway...just don't really get the big bonus offers anymore. They got tired of giving me money they have no chance to recoup.
I made my review on the card a few months back, here is my post: http://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/Credit-Cards/TD-Easy-Rewards-Becoming-TD-Cash/m-p/4669139#M1353195
As stated before, the big bonus of this card is No FTF and No AF. Ok card but need a bigger push from TD to make it worth while with the rewards.
After I met the $200 bonus, I just put it away to build history. Also, this is my only card with No FTF. If I have to travel, this will be the card I'm using. Then again, Capital One QS is good for that as well with a better phone app.

Thanks for your review and feedback......Think i will pass on this card
I just got the card. I've been a bank accountholder for a while. Every time I went in to a bank branch to do a transaction, they would let me know I was preapproved for the card. Started getting mailers and finally applied for the card. I was approved 2K SL.. If you're a bank accountholder, the credit card site is the regular banking site which is pretty easy to navigate. I prefer the mobile app. Can't speak to how the site appears to a non bank accountholder. It will likely stay in rotation with a few other cards. No complaints thus far!
@Mellon wrote:I received a mailer today about the TD Bank cash credit card (prequalified not pre-approved). The offer is $200 cash back with a $500 spend in 90 days, 2% dining and 1% everything else. Does anyone have this card do you like it, what bureau did they pull, how are the starting limits, FICO score at approval, anyone recon if not initially approved?
1% on general purchases is typical; for some the 2% on dining is beneficial.
TD tends to request Experian credit reports. If you're not already a TD checking customer, this could be a way to tempt you to become a checking customer. I had one of their First Class cards, started at $5k. They wanted a HP for a CLI, so I closed the account after two years.
