TD Bank

I just got a mail in offer for a CC through TD Bank. Has anyone got any info on this bank and their CCs?

I don't have direct CC experience with them in that regard, however, just baking side of it there are a really good bank. If I wasn't a long time USAA member I would use them. With all that being said CC wise according to your sig you have some prime cards, I don't think they'll offer anything exceptional that you don't already have or that is better.

I had the card. the extra rewards. it is a great card for the first 6 months. pretty much 5 percent. but after that. it is truly plain jane. 1 percent across the board. I closed it at the 1 year anniversary. went to branch to close. and manager said. looks like we helped you get other cards..i think you did not help much with a 500 limit after a year. and no cli. plus that 1 percent is pretty pultry to say the least. so now you know op. up to you. much better cards out there.

I got secured card. Nothing special - plain 1%.

But a week ago they changed the agreement and now after the 7-th bill cut (and every bill cut after) your account wll automatically be reviewed and graduated to unsecured CC with the same CL & APR & without AF (if it is eligible - YMMV). I was going to close it after I get some other CC's, but it looks like better to keep it for a while.

TD sometimes offers $200 signup bonus on some cards. And now that I check they currently are running that special through the end of May. If you want the bonus, apply online for one fo the cards that qualify. Otherwise, TD Bank is a cross border bank, serving both the US and Canada (via TD Bank Canada). Not a lot of info on them, since you have to be in their area of business to apply, unless you are already a customer.

This is the bank that backs the target credit carD. It is is Canadian baNk. My checking and days savings there.
