TSA Pre Check Fees Refund possible?

Do any of the cards like Ritz or airline cards allow you to pay for TSA Pre Check sign up fee and get it refunded as part of travel expenses?

Citi Prestige or Amex Plat come to mind.

Executive AAdvantage gives $100 credit per year for five years.

With Ritz you just call and ask for the credit, but I've found it better for seat upgrades so I'm not stuck in seat 47K for 12 hours.

Re: TSA Pre Check Fees Refund possible?

Ritz will refund it as PART of the 300$ incidental credit. not in addition to it.

AAdvantage aviator silver will also reimburse it.

Amex Plat and citi Prestige will as well.

I would highly recommend global entry over tsa precheck. you get your know traveler number just like with precheck, and you get tsa precheck when you use your KTN, it's 15$ more (amex and citi will do one or the other, full cost) but will also get you expedited re-entry to USA when you travel abroad.

Signed up for Global Entry for myself and Partner and they are pre-approved now (need to go for interview)... I charged both charges to Ritz.

Called Chase Customer Service and she looked up the charges, verified I had the rewards and issued a statement credit for the $200!

Now that was easy and awesome!

Yeah it is so simple and pleasant on the Ritz. Where's your interview? LAX?

looks like the only option... still trying to cordinate with partner who is very unhappy about the point of it with how little we travel... I'm like it's free and even if you only use it once you will thank me! Smiley Tongue

Yeah it's worth it here if you only use it once. The office is on departures level in Tom Bradley Terminal. It takes 2 minutes.

Global Entry is the better deal IMHO.  I have used it several times in Int'l travel and whisking past the long lines in customs was always a pleasure.  The fact that TSA Pre came with it was icing on the cake.

Congrats!
