I thought I was going to close my Target card. Not any more.
Normally membership is $99, but is $50 off for Circle card holders plus $30 in Circle rewards for later on...
Check for offers in the app as mine was good til Feb 9.
I got the target membership before (only holding the debit version) for $49, I don't think I got the additional $30 though, nice promo!
I had it in the last year for free. Anyway, it was not working well.
For delivery, they were still chargings some fees. So, I decided to use their free pick-up service (without any minimum purchase requirement). Anyway, Instacart would be sufficient, if I need any delivery and it covers several stores including Target.
I keep seeing it. I don't want it. All the local Target stores nearby have closed and the nearest one is about 90 minutes and three buses away. So I'm too far to take advantage of the 360 - the same with WalMarts grocery delivery, I'm too far for grocery delivery. I got the debit card, which provided a $50 credit on first use. And I've used the debit card for twice for 5% off, but it is just easier to order from Amazon. But yeah, they want me to upgrade to 360, but I would never use it.

What is circle 360??
It is Target's version of Walmart +
ala Amazon Prime.
Minimum order is $35 for same day delivery. We tested it last night and got our order within two hours.
This is going to be convenient for us.
We are in a touristy area and any trip for groceries to the local supermarket Target or Walmart is frustrating during the season.
The 360 seems to be better than the Walmart + but we will see.
Thanks for the heads-up!
The Target card is on my long-term radar, which is a bit odd since the nearest Target is about an hour away from where I live. However, I like to order household stuff from Target since with the Circle promos I can usually beat Walmart and Amazon by 15%-20%, and with a $35 purchase delivery is free anyway.
I also reload my prepaid phone account once a year with refills purchased online from Target, since they don't charge sales tax or fees (yet) on AT&T. I generally wait until the 4th quarter when it's the Target quarter with Discover, but if I had the Target CC it wouldn't matter.
I just wish there was a physical Target store closer to me. I have Walmart nearby, but it's just not the same.
I find Walmart to generally be cheaper almost all of the time. If I shop in store, yeah, the "clientele", atmosphere, and employees in Target beat WM hands down. But 1.) I'll put up with a lot for lower prices but, really, 2.) I do most all of my shopping online now. The WM near me in Murrieta isn't a Super Center but when I order online with WM+ I have access to the Temecula Super Center, one City south, so I can get meats and produce if I need it. Just yesterday I used the WM Tire Center to get 4 new tires for $450 out the door + a $28 oil change for my wife's Telluride. Something Target doesn't offer. I am upset WM got rid of the 5% CB card but that anger is subsiding now that I have a 4% Smartly. With all this said, mrs. ptatohed won't step foot in a WM and always shops at our local Target (closer to us than WM too).
Seems I have the $50 offer with my Target debit card but it's not something I'll use. We barely even use Amazon anymore. Doing a lot more of going to the actual stores recently because we are so fed up with delivery and refund hassles from these companies.
