Target Card Promo

Received in the mail today:

"Starting October 17, 2010, your REDcard saves you 5% at Target - on almost anything you want, any time you shop... Every time you use your Target Credit Cards, Target Visa Credit Card or Target Debit Card you will receive 5% off your purchases at Target stores and Target.com."

Sounds like a nice promo for target credit cards.

I dunno... I've been at 500 CL for almost 3 years and that's still not enough to make me use the card. Hmmph...

I forgot to mention they are discountinuing their 1000pts into a 10% off certificate, but still is a nice deal.

Concerning CL, they have been generous with me. They upgraded me to a VISA a couple years ago with $8,000 CL

Maybe this will get the target cards out of the sock drawer?

no, i haven't.  but my point was that i'm surprised people are getting so excited about this.  i don't think it's a real big deal.  do you?
