I just applied online and they said my application requires further reaserch. I guess that means NO. = (
If they pull equifax, I have a 616.
For me I think it was... opened the card, they increased my cl to $500 (back in '02, I was in college), I maxed it out and missed a payment, I paid off the card and asked them to decrease the cl to $100...... been there ever since, have a feeling I always will be

They review every account monthly because their goal is to convert as many as possible over to the (dreaded high interest- I added that part) Visa. That is what I was told by customer service when I called to ask once again for a CLI. They don't take requests anymore. So I tried to circumvent the system and applied directly for a Visa and was, you guessed it, declined. I think somehow when you get on their bad side, you stay there forever. Just wish I knew what I did to get there. LOL

I found it strange but excited that I even got approved for a card even though it was $200! This was in Oct 06 and I've been using the card here and there since then. Maybe I'll try putting it away for a few months too and see what happens!I was told it was like a semi annual or annual review to see which lucky redcard holders would get the coveted Visa
