I've seen a couple threads about Target in-store credit, and one or two that tangentally brushed my question, but nothing for certain-
Does anyone know whether the Target RedCard (the in-store credit card, not the Target-branded Visa) reports to all three bureaus?
So far, it has only shown up on Experian I believe. It does not appear on EQ or TU. I opened the card in February, first statement was March, next statement coming up in 5 days. Its a low limit card, and I'm carrying about 20% the balance on it, and with my credit, its appearance- or its lack of appearance- on the other two bureaus info will likely be inconsequential anyway, but I'd still like to know whether I can expect to eventually see the account on all three, or if it will be solely present on Experian.
Thanks!
I have seen mine on EQ and EX. I will have to double check TU, but fairly certain it is there, too.
Thanks!
Perhaps it will just take some additional time for it to show up on the other two. I'll wait and see what happens in the next few weeks (next statement is cut on the 10th).
My RedCard reports to all 3 bureaus.
Did either of you happen to notice whether there was any lag in its appearance on any of the three bureaus? I guess I'm not too concerned presently, but want to know at what point I should actually call and inquire.
In my experiance, Experian updates faster than Equifax and TransUnion. Usually (for me) it's Experian, next day Equifax, and eventually in day or two or more, TransUnion will join the party. My Target card is also reporting to all three.
@Adalen
This is more of a "did not appear on EQ or TU last month at all" (first statement since opening account)- only appeared on EX. I'll be watching to see if the history appears on the former two this month, or not.
I was approved last month and my first billing was on the 25th. target claims they reported the account on the 26th but still nothing on any of the bureaus, so you are not alone in this situation.
No such luck it reports on all 3 reports... I wish it didn't report its embarasing having a $200 CL, my lowest ever show up on my report, it basicly sits in the sock drawer buying enough groceries for a week would max out the card.
