Target Redcard Upgraded to Target Redcard Mastercard!

Today I got three letters in the mail from target.

My statement

A letter saying they increased my CL from 2.5k to 5k

and 

A letter that states on 8/20/2016 my card will be upgraded from just the store card to a mastercard version. It also included the additional changes to the card (IE cash advance stuff).

Im actually super excited. I always wanted the visa version back in the day, but I applied to late and they only offered the store version.

Did anyone else get this letter?

Congrats..I'm curious if there will be a datapoints thread...Like age of card...PIF or revolve balance...actual CLIs since card received originally....this can be good info...

I got that letrter today as well.

I kind of figured it was coming when I noticed last week they cli my account form the meager 700 limit to 2500

Congrats OP!! I got a letter as well a few days ago. They increased my limit from $300 to $1K. Wondering if the MC will come with another increase!

I got it too but mine says convert on 8/11. I wonder if they're just doing them all different weeks on August

My card is about a year old started at 300 then went to 500 then 1k then 2.5k then 5k. over time. always PIF and have a negative balance.

Congrats everyone! I'm only a little jeally Target is my fave store and they recently gave me another CLI from $1.7k to $2.1k. Not much but glad I broke the $2k mark with them. I am hoping to receive something in the mail soon :/ I've had my card for 2 years this month!!

I have no idea if they'll convert my account to MC or not (nor have I recieved any letter BUT today I logged in and my redcard limit is now $1000
