I got my target card Saturday....

I still have not activated it

I got my Sea miles card yesterday ......

I was looking forward to getting the mail today and was sad when there was no credit card or pre approval offer (not that I was expecting anything).

I had just been so excited to get the mail the past few days....

my true credit scores have take a slight dive...

Now that utilization is lower ... hoping the scores will go up

I have the Target Visa that started with a CL of $500.  I called to do a CLI last month - it was totally automated and I was instantly approved for a new CL of $1000.  I didn't even have to talk to a live person...

Just applied for the Target Red Card online and got instant approval. It said the card will be to me in 7-10. Can I call to find out the CL? I am certain it will be the typical $200 but I am just curious. How long does it take to get a CLI? Thanks!

I just double-checked, and I got my Target Redcard ($200 CL) 12/1/06.  I got the letter upping to the Target Visa ($10K CL) around the beginning of October.  I only charged $35 on it the whole time, paid that off a couple of days later, and it's collected dust and scraped ice off of windshields ever since.

Hi, I applied for a Target Card and got D E N I E D :-) Apparently you need a score of some kind (bad or good) to qualify. Target pulled TU- only, wonder why. I am trying so desperately to get established and Target was my last hope for a department store CC (I Think). TU-no score EX-711 EQ-no score

StarWater, try Dillard's for a store card.  They are very lenient with credit repair/building situations.

StarWater try doing a spiegles card. Credit is provided by WFNNB which has only pulled EX for me. Go to their site and click on pre-approved offer, click on find my offer (I think) put in name and address. It will tell you if you are pre-approved by saying to accept your offer continue. Hope this helps.

I waited 6 months to ask & it worked for me, but I have the Target Visa.  From what some others have said it sounds like the Red Card doesn't do CLI requests.  No harm in asking though.
