Targeting the Chase Palladium Card

Re: Targeting the Chase Palladium Card

Definite no to the assets.... my spends vary but usually around $60k.  I guess I'm putting in hopes from the stories I've read that fall short of those criterias.

This is definitely a 'want' card for me rather than something I will use as a primarily.  With my current 3 cards, I've got my bases covered methinks.

haha I wish I had that much!  What of the stories of others being approved without a CPC or CPB? (or a checking/savings acct)

@Anonymous - thanks for the tip!

There was a period where this was possible, but by all accounts that loophole has been firmly closed.  Now all apps have to submitted through the private bankers.

Also, this probably won't change your mind, but those on here with the Palladium don't seem to particularly like it, and its perks have been cut.

I like the Idea of having the card. But by all means other than....Ironically enough...Prestige, the Citi Prestige kicks it's butt.

Re: Targeting the Chase Palladium Card

Do you want to get the palladium just because its an prestigious card? I guess i would have to look at features again of the card but i don't think they are worth having to have that many assets locked into chase.

Re: Targeting the Chase Palladium Card

^Yep, I want it just to have it.... like longtimelurker mentioned, it's not the best in benefits in its class.  And yes to those cards Nixon!  This is purely want.

Re: Targeting the Chase Palladium Card

I'm in DC so there are no Chase banks around but I do travel to NYC often.  I'm thinking on my next visit up, I'll find a PB I can start getting friendly with!

Well, I'll have the $30Million as soon as this sweet Nigerian Bank deal goes though.

This banker was in a plane crash and all they need is my Social and my Checking Account numbers and soon I'll be Mega rich!

(I think I'm going to buy the London Bridge... anyone know if it's still for sale??)

Re: Targeting the Chase Palladium Card

I have an account with JP Morgan and I have yet to figure out how to get my banker to upgrade my card to the palladium...  I got some advice on here, but have not yet built up the courage to deal with the holiday crowds at my PB branch, located in the heart of an upscale shopping center...
