Tempted to press luv button on barclaycard

Barclay was good to me 11 months ago approving me for apple financing of 1500$ for a MacBook. I have used the card a few times for other large purchases as well... One was a cash advance for 800$ that I paid off within a month while still makin payments of 100$ for the laptop. At 6 months they auto raised my limit from $1500 to $2500. I paid my rent the next month on the card and paid off next statement. Right now I only owe them $300/$2500. I logged onto my account and noticed a credit limit increase button. I am so tempted to press it!
Will it be a hard pull?

Also, I recently aquired Amex BCE, Chase Freedom, and discover IT all last week. Will this scare them? And possibly just make things worse by me asking for a CLI?

The temptation is strong! Lol

Yes, it will be a HP.  Be prepared for a manual review if you ask for a CLI, most cases where the customer apped for alotr of new accounts and asked for a HP CLI with Barclays ended up with some kind of AA (CLD, closure).

I would wait if I were you.

Ya I know Smiley Sad I will stay strong then. You're right. Barclay is so odd. I don't want to piss them off. Maybe they will auto me after 1 year in a couple months. Thanks LS.

I'd check up on it right before your 13th statement, if they're going to auto luv you, it would happen around that time.

Lambo, they gave me auto luv at the 6 month and 1 year mark!! I haven't asked for a dime. Wait till you're at the 1 year mark and you'll feel the luv too!

Re: Tempted to press luv button on barclaycard

So, my card says opened 5/12. 12 statements have now posted. Is it considered a year old yet? Or in may? I'm assuming not til may when the 11th statement cuts. Anyways, just opened 3 accounts and those aren't showing yet. I'm not positive if they will auto CLI so maybe requesting an increase now would be better? I want to go from 2500 to 5000. I plan on purchasing 2 iPhones when the new ones come out so I could use that excuse if needed. If denied now, is it possible to get the auto next month??

"most cases"?  I think this is a YMMV case, and the people who get AA post, so we don't see good ones.  Though I agree with the advice.

Re: Tempted to press luv button on barclaycard

Here's my history with barclay's to give you a little more info....opened priceline visa 1/2012, recon success on second call for 2000, no love @ 6-month mark (no new accts opened either during 1st 6-months) so the week after the 6-month mark with no auto-luv, i hit the button, requested $4500 total, they instantly countered with $3580, Done, accepted! (yes, hp though).......only 4-months ago by again and no new accts opened, I wanted to hit it again and I did, requested $6500 total this time, no instant response, but the very next day, it shows, new cl=$5000, so they countered again, but at the 4-month mark.....Right now it has been another 4-months since last request, with 5-new accounts reporting, luv button is there again, but I want NO MORE HP's Smiley Sad so staying away till 6-month mark to see if its auto, good luck Smiley Happy

I highly doubt when my new account report that they will auto me. So I would rather hit it now I think.
