I got home from work yesterday and there was a small Fed Ex package waiting for me at my doorstep. I opened it up and there it was...DISCOVER IT!! Got to hand it to Discover. They are good with presentation. That was the most exciting unboxing of a new CC that I have experienced!! So - THANK YOU DISCOVER!

I'm hoping to get one of these either later this year or next year once a couple baddies on EQ fall off. Should be easy as pie, then.

My dad keeps getting preapproval letters though...jealous!

My girlfriend just got approved a couple days ago for $1,200 limit, she added me as a AU during the app process since I was denied due to one collection that should be coming off any day now and discover is already reporting on all 3 bureaus and we don't even have the cards yet lol.

I can't wait to get mine tomorrow. My husband made a face when I told him I applied for a Discover card. Wait til he sees the box!

How long did it take for your online account to get set up?

I applied for the card on Friday 1/11 and received the card yesterday 1/15. Activated the card and then registered online. The online registration took me a whole 5 minutes to go through! Congrats on your approval!!

Best part of the discover IT, is when u hand it to a clerk, and u watch them try to figure out how to swipe it, and you just smile. They are in pure confusion for a good 5.6 seconds.
