$200 for my next GAP card. Let's just say, after getting approved for my new AmEx Delta SkyMiles Gold and getting approved for a bump on my AmEX TrueEarnings to $3,000. I was less than enthused.
If I didn't need that darned thing for a better credit mix I'd shove that card right up their...mailbox with a nasty letter attached to it telling them how poorly I think they run their business and how angry I am at their stinginess.
I got a $4500.00 GEMB store card with Ritz Camera. It's my highest CL and I can't for the life of me figure out why they even give anybody a CL that high, especially me. LOL.

Agreed. I rec'd a pre-approval from Lowe's and I just stared at it for a month. I love Lowe's, but I'm happy to avoid GEMB. At this point I'll get the best bang for my buck from using my Delta Amex at Lowe's -- double miles! It will take some creativity b/c my CL is so low. I'm thinking I'll go buy an appliance every other day, come home PIF, rinse and repeat.
I can't get a CLI on the Old Navy card b/c I never let a balance post. Ahhh.
I got my GEMB Banana Republic card in December, and they gave me a $500 CL - I'm sure it wouldn't have been so much had I not been spending $400-and-something at the time. I just realized a couple of weeks ago that they've auto-CLI'd me to $600 - I guess that must be some sort of reward for reaching my six-month anniversary with them.
Such generosity!!!
I swore I'd never have (another) GE card as I had a couple of cards backed by them in the UK, years ago, and HATE them - but somehow ended up forgetting to answer 'no, thanks' when asked if I'd like to open an account back in December.
