Oh-so-fancy looking. Priority Mail 2 Day from Utah.

I think I might go buy a new wallet...

ETA: It did come with a FICO score from EQ...674  - just the same as on ScoreWatch. 674 is with one negative reporting...it dropped from 700+ when a C/O fell off earlier this month.

When I got approved for the AMEX BCP/Chase Freedom I felt like they deserved a new wallet too! Lol I upgraded from a George Trifold wallet from Walmart to a Coach Bifold wallet. Smiley LOL

I got the email on Sunday evening. The actual post mark on the envelope is Dec. 3rd. As far as I know, they always send Priority Mail 2nd Day (They used to do FedEx 2nd Day...guess it got too expensive for them, lol)

Probably a cost savings, but I'm actually glad for it in this case. 50/50 chance FedEx would have delivered my card to one of the neighbors. Smiley Happy I love our USPS driver though.

USPS Priority Mail is their standard shipping method, you don't have to pay extra for it. However, Priority doesn't always deliver in 2 days (it used to be guaranteed 2 days but that was a long time ago). They ship from Utah, depending where you are the delivery might be estimated at 3 days. Unless Discover has another shipping outlet in the east somewhere.

Congrats on the card. That's one nice looking card!

Can I ask what the draw is to this card? I have heard others mention it. Is it the "card" of all cards for Discover? How hard was it to get? What is your limit they started you out with if you don't mind me asking?

Re: That was Fast!!

I got mine in a 2 day delivery package as well.

I got approved with an Equifax of 684 according to the documentation sent with the card. Also, 3,500 CL.

I also have several hard pulls on my record this year. Got the Capital One Quicksilver, Citi Dividend, and Chase Sapphire (non Prefered) all within the last 6 months. Also got a Target card within the last year and 2 hard pulls for apartments (moved for a job). Wow so that is 7 or so hard pulls in a year, better start gardening.

It really depends, did you previously have Discover and was it IIB?

Re: That was Fast!!

I had them in a Ch. 7 BK back in 1999 and was still able to get another card around 2006 while the BK was still on my report.
