Re: The Donut Experiment with Amex

Stop jerking around and MAX the card out every month with just doughnuts. Don't pay until the very last moment of the day due. Check your spending ability every hour on the hour. Call for CLI once a week.

Or just cancel the card now. Not sure what you are trying to accomplish but I am not sure it will help your credit. I guess AMEX will drop you outright, FR you or freeze your card and I assume that's your goal. Fast forward 10-20 years when you get a job that REQUIRES you to carry an AMEX for company expenses and they flat out will not allow you to have a card. Or perhaps you become older and wiser and eventually would like an AMEX.

Re: The Donut Experiment with Amex

Donut thing wont work...I know, I buy donuts daily using my amex bce and rarely use it for much else. Never had an issue.

Wanna freak them out? Use it at good will and health department, then charge a first class trip to asia. Probably freak them out a bit..
