I have been reading the credit posts on this forum recently which has helped me a lot and I wanted to share my experience and give back.
So I wanted to apply for a CapOne VentureOne(gold card) because I wanted 0% foreign transaction fee and basic no fees (annual etc). Many posters have mixed reviews with the company with their PC & CLI and so was I. But I wanted a signature card with some basic rewards so I pulled the trigger and applied and was approved to my amazement. 
7,500$ limit with the 19.9% APR.
I am still new to credit, but hoping with my profile, I can help others get an idea where they are standing in their credit situation when I was approved for the VentureOne.
I am a student with 2 1/2 years of credit history. My first card was WF student (Sep'09 CL 1,900) and I recently apped for a Chase Freedom (Nov'11 CL 3,000). I also have a Macy's (May'11) black card so I assume NRSL? No BK or Baddies and I pay my statements in full. I use credit karma to get me a general idea of the card, score of 750.
