Don't fret over it. Your utilization is whatever your current utilization is. There's no record. Even if you do "mess it up" you can correct the matter with the next statment period. If you're not applying for anything then it may not be worth fussing over details like this but that's your call to make.
$97/$7,000 is just over 1%, FYI. You won't even hit 9% until you have a balance of $630.
I see...thanks so much. I do need to eventually apply for one more card. This is the only revolving credit I have currently. The ultimate goal is a mortgage in a year +++.
