The reason Cap One will not PC my QS1 to QS

I speculated in another thread that they refuse to do it because they want more apps. Here's the response to my latest attempt:

Disappointing to hear, since I'd love to someday PC my QuicksilverOne cards.

Re: The reason Cap One will not PC my QS1 to QS

that is weird. did you try contacting EO? if not I would try EO (via phone, not secured message), and if that fails too, then get on chat and keep trying with different rep until you get pc.

I was able to pc quicksilverone into ventureone (I just wanted to remove the fee and have a travel card), and that was about a month or two after getting quicksilverone.

So far I've done chat twice and SM twice. Not really important enough to contact the EO. Oh, and I've had this card for over 7 years, perfect payment record. I'm thinking maybe they're refusing because it started out as an HSBC Orchard Bank.

The EO told me last week they can't do it because one is a VISA and one is a Mastercard. I have two I wanted to PC but they did remove the annual fees.

oooh.... yeah, that's the reason. my brother had the same hsbc orchard bank card converted to quicksilverone, and they would not remove annual fee of 59 or 69 bucks or pc that card into something else, needless to say he closed the card.

The regular Quicksilver doesn't have a Mastercard version?
