I tried to get a new CLI, they looked at something and said sure, but we need to pull a hard inq. Grr. It was all about posting the inq. I feel like a cow waiting to be branded. I turned down the CLI.

I rather not have credit at the moment than take another inq hit. Why do inqs have to be so painful?

I feel your pain Pizza. LOL!! Not sure I was at the 6 mos mark on my CB card. Called to see about a CLI was told I was a few days early. Asked if I could get it anyway,she started reading the script about them MAYBE needing to do another hard. I said 'No thank you, thank you for your time.'

I would have thought that with 20 credit cards:

a) an extra inq wouldn't hurt

b) an extra CLI wouldn't help.

Have you considered joining The Sleigh Center?

Who me? I only had 13 and I closed 3 or four. Besides, I am a senior member of the sleigh center.

BTW you do speak some truth. I ran a simulator on the effects of increasing limit on that card by 5k and the effects were non existent...lol
