Thinking about another AMEX charge card later on

I guess it would depend on lifestyle. I really don't travel or spend enough to maximize the benefits of a charge card.

The BCP AF pays for itself in my situation. There are probably times when the Freedom makes more sense but it really only comes out in circumstances when Amex isn't accepted.

All itchiness aside, wouldn't you get more bang for the buck by waiting until a pre-approval for BCP or BCE came down?

LS...good luck on whichever u decide on....I think u should go for the platinum...it will just be a soft pull anyways. ..if not approved,they will let u know......

I'd definitely get the Plat Plat... simply because the annual fee pays for itself. Seriously, go look at the benefits, you make out like a bandit... but ONLY if you know you're going to use the living daylights out of them.

Since I almost never fly (if only they offered frequent DRIVER miles LOL) , I have never looked into fly type rewards cards. The reps at AMEX brought up Delta and Sky but they wouldn't do me much good (for revolvers), and as far as charge cards go, that's why I figured Zync fit me best (low AF but back dating and a few other non-fly perks at low cost).

If someone came out with a 10% cash back gas rewards card, I would jump on that like lightning

I have the PR GOLD Charge and absolutely love and it forces me to PIF monthly. You can convert your earn points to DELTA SKYMILES! I also have the AMEX Skymiles and BCE, but mainly use the PR GOLD...
