50k URs is a great bonus. Would paying $95/$190 in annual fees be so bad if you kept the card for a less-suspicious period of 23/35 months?

Just a risk/reward calculation.   IMO, if you do this just once, especially after say 10 months (so not just after the bonus, or just before the AF hits), the risk is very small.  So why waste $95.   You already have the 50K UR

Don't forget to add each other as AU for the extra 10k.  Keep it open for a year.

I would prob add a fake name or something. I don't want to add my spouse, or vice versa, and then it'll show up as a new [unnecessary] account to lower the AAoA.

That would not be wise at all it is a reason for immediate termination of the account should they find out.

This thread is pretty much a lesson on how to commit credit card fraud, frankly I'm surprised it's still unlocked.
