So brief history, restarted my credit profile after covid, had nothing. Started with Cap1 plat secured, then was offered a QS1 $500 limit (which has now only grown to $800 CL bucketed, I know), then was offered a Savor One with a $2200 CL, this was from 2021 to 2023. Since then I have added Amex HH, Amex Delta Gold, Amex Bonvoy and Amex Plat. Also accepted a Venture One $3300CL and a Citi Rewards+ $1800CL and Citi Costco $4800CL. In total CL is around $24k. So now I have been offered A QS and Savor with subs (excellent credit versions, no APR for year nad half and cash). Should I accept the QS and cancel the QS1? It's not going to get that much higher I suspect in CL. I know the QS will offer a much higher CL and have no annual fee. I had an Indigo with a $700 CL that I cancelled 6 months ago when they changed the terms to a monthy fee when I had originally no AF. Also have a Credit One with a $800 CL. Thinking about canceling that also.
My only reservation is lowering my avg age since the QS1 was my second card from a few years ago.
Savor yes, Quicksilver, no. Just be aware that you are going to get a hard pull on all 3 credit bureaus when you apply. A better option might be to product change your QS1 to QS. No SUB, but you drop the annual fee and keep an old account alive. Honestly, Quicksilver is ok, but not exactly a long term keeper card. Savor, on the other hand, is a great card, but you'll have to be ok with all the hard pulls to get it.

Well I have the Savor One already, and CapOne is changing all of them to just Savor now. Getting a new Savor doesn't seem productive to me. Unless I'm missing something?

Well, the same can be said for the Quicksilver. You can upgrade your QS1, so what's the point in getting another QS? The SUB is the only real incentive. The question is the SUB worth another credit line.
If you just want another credit card to replace your QS1, you might look for a 2% non-category card. That would be an upgrade from your QS1.

When online, the product change they offer is changing my Savor to a QS....I can't understand why. Doesn't seem logical.
You should see separate offers for each card. Make sure you click on the offers for each card to see what they will do.

Yeah, I was just toying with the idea of dropping that bucketed QS1 for a QS with higher CL. Honestly I like my Savor for cash back/rewards and the Citi Rewards+ has been okay so far. It's probably better than the QS1 or QS. I think Cap One only hit with me 2 hits to my CB when I accepted the Venture One. I love how Amex doesnt HP after you have an account with them. And the HH Amex is awesome with it's reward structure. Maybe I will just put the QS1 in the sock drawer.
LOL! Forgot about this, just checked, the upgrade offers are, upgrade my Venture to Savor or upgrade my Savor to QS. I think their algorithm is on crack.
No upgrade for QS1 or nothing on that Plat Secured, which is $300 Cl. (I dont even carry it)
So, why not upgrade your two offers and change your V1 to Savor and your Savor to QS? Boom. Close the other two cards with Cap One.

Interesting suggestion, thanks. So what happens to my V1 miles (along with sub I hit) when I change to Savor?
