Hi,
Just wanted to see if anyone has opinion on whether I could get approval for the American Express Blue Cash Everyday.
Here are my current stats:
I was looking to use the BCE for a balance transfer from one of my CapOne cards.
Any thoughts?

Here are my current stats:
- Two Captial Ones, which I've had for a couple of years
- 59% percent utlitzation
- 662 FICO (Exp)
- Bankruptcy--discharged in 2010
- Excellent credit history for past 3 years
- Income $25,000/yr

Welcome to the forum. With util that high I would say your chances are slim to none. In addition, the bk being less than 6-7 years old is another issue. For Amex, you need to have a pretty clean file after a bk.

I would say no chance. 4 years post-BK, FICO is too low, util is way too high. I'd think you'd need to bring your util way down to even have a shot.
Thank you for a quick response!
I would say my report has been about perfect since the BK, which was filed in 2007 and discharged in 2010. Does that make difference to them?
Amex is not a good card to plan for carrying balances either.
Thank you. What about Chase Slate? I am looking to transfer a balance off of one of the CapOne's. I plan on getting the util way down in the next few months.
Chase Slate is a much better option and is probably what I would do if I needed a BT and wasn't a member at NFCU. Thats what I would aim for, but get your uril down first. It is still not going to be an easy approval.
