There isn't a day that goes by that I don't learn something here.
Right?? I'm on this forum every single day, just reading random stories. I like to see so many people succeeding and giving advice. It's been almost 1 year since I started fixing my credit and everything I've learned has been on this forum!

If you're denied outside of an early attempt then it's typically a 90 day wait.
If you're approved then it's 180 days before you can go for it again. This counts for people w/ 2+ cards as the CLI clock is per cardholder not per card.
Thank you! That's probably why I haven't been able to get any CLI's on my other AMEX cards. I got an auto increase on my BCE like 2 months ago? So it seems I need to wait 180 days for any other CLI's.
However, when I chatted with someone at AMEX about this, they said I was eligible to request a CLI, but we all know how those front line CSR's can give the wrong info sometimes.
I think that CSR might be correct. Auto increases don’t seem to reset the clock. If you had asked for a CLI and got one, then it’s 6 months. If you were denied, then it’s 3 months. You did neither, so it seems, so you definitely might be eligible to ask for one.

Good point. They definitely don’t reset the clock

Unfortunately, I asked for a CLI on all 3 of my cards like last week. So, I'm going to ignore that luv button for the next 3 months.
