Re: Time to move on up.

no bank is perfect... but overall unless you get a fr, amex is spotless if you ask me
and people that have reported c1 issues i think are with rebuilder cards... prime cards like there signature with no pre set spending limit and fixed 8.9 apr, can't really beat that.
www.citibank.com is a huge prime lender with tons of different cards also.

I have also heard some real bad C1 stories.

I think you will hear real bad stories about just about any credit grantor out there (with the exception of the CUs.)

I believe they just dont help as much as a major company. Especially with the smalls CL's they give the customers.

Re: Time to move on up.

We have a GEMB/Sams club cc with a limit of 10,000.00 is that a small CL?  We have a fifth wheel note with GEMB it was orginally $45,000.00 we will have a two year pay off on it.  I thought when they raised our sams club CL it was pretty decent ammount.  So you think if we had a major cc instead of sams club our score would be higher?  Im just curious (trying to learn things) we are not looking for credit of any type.  Tks Vicki

Re: Time to move on up.

Ha I would call those good limits. I was talking about things like Paypal Buyer credit when they start you off with a 300 limit even if you have perfect credit.

Re: Time to move on up.

those are great limits... but I think you would see your score go a lot higher if you added a credit card.
you like sams, so what about www.Discovercard.com
