@Anonymous wrote:My Firestone card was reporting the limit at $196, even though i had a $1200 limit. I disputed it and it was corrected, which bumped my score up by almost 50 points since it had previously looked like i was charged up way over my limit.
Well, we will see how it goes....I just disputed with the CB (Experian) to report my Firestone CL. Hopefully it works.
let us know Push if disputing your TL will actually make CFNA report the limit....keeping my finger crossed. for you.

Thanks, hopefully so....that would be nice. I kinda just "chalked" it up as not happening. It is good that it at least reports the CL to EQ. I will update. Hopefully it does not take long.

@Creditaddict wrote:my Firestone does not report a CL, but I also have not used it, does it suddenly report CL if you charge on it?
Firestone/CFNA "officially" changed their policy around summer '08 (?) to start reporting CL as any other normal CC does. Of course, this should occur whether or not you make a purchase. After I read about their policy change, I had to complain once before they started reporting my CL, then complain a second time when they stopped reporting a month or two later. After my second complaint, they have reported faithfully for about 2 years, even though my last purchase was 15 months ago ...
This shows on your Experian and TU reports as well? I only see it on my EQ (Credit Limit). It would be nice to have the Credit Limit (instead of balance only) actually report to the other two....
CFNA/Firestone has been reporting the CL on all three of my credit reports since I complained. I submitted my complaints directly to CFNA through their website email - I did not submit a dispute to the CRAs. I think CFNA has simply been lazy about submitting the CL data correctly unless customers force the issue ...

Makes sense. Thanks for the info. Should this plan of action not work (the dispute) then I will submit my request via their website. Thanks again.
Well, did not take long...it worked. I now see the limit posted on my wifes Experian CR as well as mine. It only showed the CL on EQ prior. The dispute worked.
I just wanted to inform you all that CFNA IS reporting limits now.
Usually, it only reports to TU and EQ. To get it to report on EX, you have to initiate a dispute. I called EX to do mine.
The next day, I got an email saying the results were in. They now report the limit!!
Wham bam thank you mam.
FWIW - my tiresplus account just hit EX report today - logged onto CCT - and sure enough the CL was not posted.
my cfna/firestone reporting on all 3 bureaus w/ cl, also if issues arise a great email contact for cfna is cfnacustserv@cfna.com
I was just about to post about my experience with my CFNA Firestone account, and how it has always reported correctly ever since opening my account with them a few months ago. Then I realized this is almost a 3 year old thread...
