Today is 6 months from my last Amex cli. I want to make the request today but I see that there is a discrepancy on some posts about if it's 6 months or 180 days. My last increase was on the Blue Sky card on 3/5/13. I was reading over all the Amex info yesterday and saw where it said it's harder to get the 3x cli at 6 months on the same card you got it on at the 61 day cli. So should I request it on the BCE card instead? I have also seen that alot of people are posting they got the 7-10 day message.....is Amex tightening up? Should I ask for less than 3x?

I'd wait a couple more days just to make sure...
I got a cli from 10.5 to 24.5k, my stats didnt really change in that time..
You should be good..
Oh and request it on the one that gets you the highest limit! :-)

I just bit the bullet and asked for the increase on the BCE just in case....lol  I chickened out a bit and only asked to go from 5,500.00 to 15,000.00 instead of the full 3x. They offered me 13,100.00 and I accepted! I am super excited and nervous!!    That is more than plenty for me!! I was only going to ask for 10k but you know how us myficoers can get alittle greedy at times....lol

I chickened out but they would not have approved it anyways since they offered me 13.1k instead of the 15k that I asked for.
