Too high util for chase?

Hey all,
I'm getting an itchy app finger. Im ready to pull the trigger with chase, but I'm a little concerned about my util.
I have the following limits and balances report as of last month:
Amex green: 4339/NPSL
BoA cash rewards: $94/2500
Citi typ: 671/1000
Along with 2 $500 cap one cards, and a WF 1k card reporting zero.
Is this too high? I'm mostly concerned with the typ card. Im at like 13% util total not including the amex. Thoughts? Also, how would they treat the balance on the amex?

That is a lot of good cards in a short time. Do you have to get Chase? Or should you spend a little time building a thicker file?

The utilization is probably not a problem, but I could imagine "short credit history" and "large number of recently opened accounts" as concerns.

Good luck!

AMEX Charge balance is not counted into utilization.

I'd pay down that citi if it's reported yet. If not, then go for it.

The current balance is 0 on the citi. the reported balance is above. they denied my request to report early. I made the payment like 10 minutes too late for it to be on this statement.

Alos, I've talked to someone in the EO who is willing to overlook my short history. Im just concerned that history combined with util is too much for her to overlook. so is this util okay?

Can't answer that for you but lower is generally better.  If you want the best odds then let it report.  Your call.  Is it more important to apply now or to have better odds?

As for the cahrge card, it does not factor into revolving utilization (except with older scoring models).

Re: Too high util for chase?

I was approved for Chase Freedom when I had 60% overall util.  I also had a thick file and no lates. I'm strep that made a difference.
