Yes-Its-Me<as i stated in my previous comment, I dream big and I would be fine with whatever they can hand out to me. And for CLI,as soon as you get your 12th statement,you can move credit away from it. I did so with my BCE,and this March i'm goin to receive my 12th statement with the ED. Does Amex counter offer me or they will deny outright? They did counteroffer me once though. I have the tax form but dont want to send it to Amex cause its kind of intrusive. By the move i mentioned earlier,it would make none of my CLi over 25k,and a total CLI of 37k.

Sorry I missed your income. Too much wine Ok, there is nothing wrong in dreaming big. We always have to. Amex will always counter if they don't think you qualify for what you ask for. Whatever you decide to do, please report back. Also, i don't think moving limit from one card to another will affect your 3XCLI with Amex.

Just to try to clarify, just because it is a 3x CLI opportunity, does not mean the request has to always be for 3x. you could ask for a CLI that increases your current line by only $1k for example.
And, AMEX is never going to give you a CL of 100% of your income. Full stop. The usually discussed range is something like 40% maximum, but don't quote me on that, because it also depends on your internal score with AMEX. Even to get to that ~40% (especially to get to something like 40%) and to get to a counter if you are shooting the moon, you are going to have to send in your 4506-T unless your dice roll is really lucky.

Oh no, with Amex at 60k and all my other CLi then its match my income. Otherwise, a 60k amex cli is around 40% my income.

Ah, okay. So here's another question for you. I think you posted in another thread that your spend is between $7k and $10k a month. I'm trying to do the math and coming up with some of this being business expenses perhaps. Otherwise the numbers just don't seem to line up. Is this in the territory where you might want to have a separate business card?

Ok, well it is difficult to put together the bits and pieces of this thread with all the various proportions.
And for reference, a CLI is a Credit Line Increase, amount of change.
A CL is the Credit Line, the final amount
Good luck with the shoot the moon request! I'm going to be maxing my May request to $27k. I too would probably go higher but 9k is my starting lever.
@bigbang91,
Looking forward to the results.

My sister told me to use it this way so that my personal credit file will be thick enough, and all the CLi look nice. Im looking for a mortage next year. Thats why im trying to grow my cli as high as i can. To my understand, business card will appear in a different file right?

If that's the case then you don't want to request a CLI from 20K to 60K. Read the 3x CLI Guide.
However, if you've already run into the 4506-T and didn't follow through then you'll probably run into it again anyway.
