True. But you know I have 2 other comenity cards. Jcrew. Took 9 months total. From 500 to 8k. Over stick. From 600 to 2500 since October. I hit them both monthly.Taxi you're missing the point, first of all JC is an anomaly to be honest. It's a beast in its self. Secondly, the TR card is NOT a store card so the CLIs will depend on your income and other pertinent credit profile.
Any non-store card is definitely going to have stricter underwriting for CLIs, you are right about that. The store cards from Comenity grow easily. But a Visa you can use anywhere may not grow as quickly.
@CreditCuriousity wrote:The EQ HP hit... Ugh... Anyways, thing is known to grow nicely.. Do they have a Signature version of this card?
yes. They have Sig Visa. Its what I got when I applied.
Current Score: EX 712 4/28/15, TU 713 4/14/14 lender pull, EQ 723 9/16/15, 740 EQ bankcard 8 6/1/15 lender pull

Thank you KDM.
Taxi, your SLs so far on Comenity cards are there for a reason. Some start at $500 and in Mia's case started at $14,500. The one silly thing about people getting high on Jcrew is for that one reason a RUSH to push the button like it's one big org*sm.![]()

Yes. I know that for sure. I think. I will show the spend. Then call in 9 months. To live person. I need at least 5k. Profile is fine. Income is fine.
Will ill give em what they want. Spend. But only after I make bonus on my venture. :![]()
Is everyone here certain that the applying through the pre-approved popup for this card is a hard pull? I got the pop up for this and since it only asked for the last four digits of my SSN, I figured it was a soft pull (until I read this thread). I got a 7-10 day message. Being the impatient person I am, I went to Commentity's Total Rewards page and signed up for online acces using my SSN, name and address. It let me log in and I could see that my credit line was just $2,300. Did a CLI request on the site and it bumped to $3,300. Did another one and it gave a 7-10 day message. Had I know this might be a hard pull and I'd only get $3,300, I wouldn't have bothered. ![]()

Well this thread was 2 months ago when i got mine. You should feel lucky. as i only got 1k limit and hp. also $250 increase. But from everything i read. It should grow very very fast at about a 4 month pace for increases so don't give up. there have been some that did not get hp. so check your monitoring service,But since the Beginning of the year most have gotten Hp. Still nothing on the Sportsman Guide. and high limits if you want to give it ago. Should be SP. But your AAoA will still take a hit. Also they always ask only for last 4. They don't need entire Social to know who you are. I did pre approval for a loan a while back and they did not ask me for my Social at all. And they knew who i was. Sad.

Thanks for the info. I'll keep an eye out and post back to let everyone know if it ends up being a hard or soft pull. I do have a Sportsman's Guide with a $12,000 limit and a JCrew with $5000, which is how I knew about the trick to create an account and see what the credit limit is before the 7-10 days. I think my Sportsmans Guide was originally $9000 and 6 months later it was bumped to $12,000 and my JCrew was $3,000 and it bumped twice to $5000.

I see. ive still not went for the Sportsmen although i get offered it all the time. Wonder if my limit would be higher on it as my last negative came off of report since i got the Total rewards. I may just hold off as i have two things going on later in the year. Car Shopping and a International Trip. so i know i will need all the Buffer i can get on my Util. Because of the amount of debt i will aquire after everything.

I don't really have any negatives, though my TU/EQ history is considerably shorter than my EX due the TU/EX not listing an old account that EX does list. So when TU is pulled, which I think comenity pulls, my average account age is a lot lower (probably under 12 months now since I've added 3 new accounts this year, this will be my fourth) I'm sure my average account age is what has affected the CL I was offered with Total Rewards. I think I got instantly approved when I got the Sportsmans Guide, though I don't remember what my FICOs were at the time... Probably where they are at about now in the mid 720s - 730s.
Mine arrived last week with 11k limit (Visa Signature), got instant CLI to 13k limit now. Love my Total Rewards!
