Excellent comparison site. Thanks CS.
OP: did you intentionally omit the Amex Blue Sky and Blue Sky Pref?
Thanks
I use that site for some of the info here as well.
I did forget to include the 2 Amex Blue Sky products. They are decent travel rewards cards actually. Will add them to the OP. Thanks for the request!
Been debating seeing how this thread turns out for a potential sticky as it has useful information in it; however, if making use of a site for information, would be courteous to reference the source in the main post.
So far I have extracted information from bank websites and compared that info against the quoted site. Turns out some of the info on there is inaccurate or outdated. Probably better to just rely on bank websites. I will mention if/when any info in the OP comes directly from that site.

Every point system has different values. How about showing something like 1pt = $0.015 ?
Suggestions on how to value transferable points are welcome.

You'd have to call BofA to request the Mastercard version. By default the card comes as a Visa.
@armbenderc wrote:- Discover IT? Since it has no forex
- Citi TY Premier? No forex
- BoA BankAmericard Privileges /w Cash Rewards or Travel Rewards?
- Amex Platinum?
Discover It is not designed to be a Travel Rewards card. If Discover Open Road were still available to the public I would have listed it.
I didn't think Thank You Premier was a travel rewards credit card before, but the companion ticket alone gives the card quite some merit. I will research the card and add it to the list. Thank you and longtimelurker for the suggestion.
The BofA Privileges Travel Rewards card doesn't appear to be offered any more. If you find a link to the product please let me know.
Amex Platinum ... How did I miss that one? Will add this card as well. Thanks!
There are so many airlines rewards cards that listing them here will make the OP too hard to read. And their benefits and rewards are much more apparent. Perhaps I will make a separate post or open a separate thread for all such cards, but for now I think it's more useful for us to analyze cards whose reward structures are not easily understood.
Unless noted otherwise, for Category 1 cards, 1 point is worth exactly 1 cent.
Thanks for the suggestions!

It's still around but you need to have 50k in assets with BofA. They don't let you apply for it or PC to it otherwise anymore, and this is why it was pulled from the main public page. You used to be able to get it without the 50k as long as you were willing to pay the AF. Now it's not offered to anyone without that minimum amout.
Not to forget about Discover Miles!

Like CapitalOne, Discover does not charge foreign transaction fees across all their cards.

I believe it comes as Visa and Signature Visa only
Added Discover Miles and Citi Thank You Premier!
Also corrected the redemption window for category 1 cards from "travel date" to "travel purchase date".
Regarding the BofA Privileges Travel Rewards card, since it is not available to the general public I think we should leave it out for now. Requiring special privileges makes this card impossible to compare to other travel rewards - type cards....

4. Barclays Arrival with annual fee:
-Point earning rate: 2.22 points on everything
-Travel defined as: Airlines, Travel Agencies & Tour Operators, Hotels, Motels & Resorts, Cruise Lines, Passenger Railways and Car Rental Agencies
-90 days window from travel purchase date to redeem points
-Annual fee: $89-No foreign transaction fees
-40k bonus points after $1000 spend in 90 days
-No EMV chip
-Mastercard only
Just curious about "travel agencies" category.
Expedia for example does sell theme park tickets.
If I am to purchase them through Expedia, would that make the purchase be classified as "travel purchases"?
