Trimming down - need input

 Hi Guys,

So about a month and a half ago I was approved for the Citi Prestige card.  This works perfect since Alaska Air is based in Seattle and AA sends a lot of their routes out of Seattle through them, meaning more non-stop flights.

That being said though, I can no longer justify my CSP.

I don't fly United, and I get excellent redemptions now through my Citi Prestige card, so SWA point redemptons are usually right around the same, and sometimes more than what my Prestige requires.  Main point here is I cannot justify the AF any longer since for a while now, I have not been using this card.  The problem is, the CL on this card is $15,500.

Any ideas?

What other Chase cards do you have (or what could you use)? Chase has traditionally been good at moving limits. Hyatt? Marriott? IHG? Ritz? Or just downgrade to no AF? Do you have a Freedom?

What do you mean downgrade to no annual fee?  I thought the Sapphire was phased out?

I have a Ritz which I plan to close as well as a Freedom which I'll leave open.

As

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

People have been successful PC'ing to no annual fee version, but you can't app for it. But it seems like moving the limit to another card would make more sense in your case.
