I hope it is more a Commenity issue, not a True Value is in trouble issue. We have three here, I'd hate to see them going/gone.

I feel bad for @CreditMagic7And why? I mean, this is impacting all True Value Discover accountholders and this tends to happen with Comenity here and there...for anyone that's been in the forums for a while. Some lost souls include Virgin America, Elder-Beerman, Barney's and the list goes on.
+1
Yep! Got my letter just today. Bye Bye True Value Discover. Comenity seems to have a periodic shelf life for many of their cards. They pop on scene and lines generally grow like leaves on trees, then come a season then down they go. Obvious trend.
Did manage to see Barneys nearly top 50K which is actually outrageous before recently them ending it too.
I'm guessing that since True Value was bought out by ACE Hardware, it was only a matter of time. And since USB is the issuer of ACE cards, they couldn't really convert True Value accounts to ACE accounts.
Bummer for those people.

Yup, indeed. My Barney's CC went *poof* as well. I closed it right about the time the initial notice was sent and since the stores or online were no longer accepting the card, it was best to let it go. So, like yours, mine was $30K.
And given today's retail environment, and as Comenity and several of its PLCC partners play roulette (or get gobbled up), I wonder which one is next 🤔 Then again, Meijer went to Citi and Comenity got Sony/PlayStation from Capital One 😜 And...still nothing on Blispay.
Got the letter from Comeity.
I only have the store card not the discover card.
Already being discussed here

I'm going to end every post and comment with that phrase now![]()

So sorry to hear you are losing that CL, OP.
AJC Blispay = new Unicorn since the Amex Zync is going away finally...the torch of unrealistic rebirth and unrealized credit card passes to Bilspay.....
