Try To Get Hooters or go for another?

I have online bill pay from nat city but don't know if they are accepted or not as a payee. And I am not going to apply unless I get rejected by Hooters which is quite a possiblity. But the fees are much better than Premier etc and I will have online bill pay sp not worried about the payment fees,

CONGRATS bott6698 for the new credit line    and do you have any idea if they report it already to the cb or you have to make a purchase first,and then they will report it ?

You have to make a purchase. Stuff looks pretty good for my wife though and now I don't have to leave the house to get her a gift lol.  You also have to put a downpayment but after 6 months you don't anymore. I am not looking to buy much anyway just going to use no more than 10% as a balance because I just want the TL and UTL. But the stuff looks pretty nice so hopefully my wife likes some gifts.

I feel for you, Modernsurrender, I can relate. The last two months I applied for 2 Citis, a JCP, Discover, BofA and Chase. Was approved for all except Discover and BofA. I called last night on Chase, and they told me I was approved for $400, so I'm reeling it in now. I think I have a good collection of store cards and bank cards, so I'm jumping on the wagon.

DH, the last two months, applied for 1 Citi card, was approved for it, and now he's content. If only I can show that kind of self restraint!!!

It took longer than I thought, but I just cracked and apped for the hooters cards, I saw a decent number of posts made by people with scores around mine that got it, so hopefully the 7-10 day message will mean a yes for me!

If not I'll try again in a few months lol.

I'm tempted to take a shot at a jcpenny card too, but I honestly don't think I'd use it often enough to make it worth while.  If it was a 10% discount all the time and not just with your first online purchase or store purchase after you get it I'd probably be more inclined to do it.
