Trying to remove one late charge from Chase.

I been trying to remove a late charge from my chase card. I wrote so many goodwill letters. I fax it and mail it. I call so many numbers from Chase Credit card services. I also use the backdoor numbers from here and no luck. All Chase can say is that they can not help me and it was aganist the law to remove the late charge. Has anyone had any luck with Chase? Does anyone had maybe another number to call? I call so many times and they will not work with me. Does anyone know a better way?

How long has it been? Sometimes these GW letters can take a couple of months before you see results. It is not against the law for Chase to remove the late, but they are indeed reporting it accurately. They can remove the late as a "courtesy" to the customer should they desire to do so. They will NOT be penalized by the government if they do.

Are you talking about an actual late fee or a 30+ day delinquent notice on your CR?
