Mobile payments 3%

Primary rental CDW

All for just an effective $75 AF

It's my favorite card!

Kroger not accepting mobile payments may not be worth it.  Groceries is our biggest spend.  😩

Re: US Bank Altitude Reserve

Yeah always keep in mind neither Kroger or Walmart accept NFC payments.  They do accept mobile payments, but it is a private, QR based system/app which does not "count" as mobile as US Bank sees it.

This might not apply to you, but my local Kroger doesn't accept NFC payments, either. I use a Samsung phone that has MST there. Almost any modern Samsung Galaxy phone has it, except for the very newest S21 models (this is what UncleB was talking about above). MST is a technology that can let you use Samsung Pay mobile wallet on almost any checkout terminal even if it doesn't support NFC/contactless payments.

The pandemic had a lot of terminals change to support NFC, but my local Kroger is still holding out...

Re: US Bank Altitude Reserve

Retailiers trying to monopolize the payment networks to make money should be boycotted. I use Amazon grocery delivery 90% of the time and get the 5% back with the store card, so I didn't realize Kroger was playing that game.
