US Bank BTS?

Does US Bank send BT offers(preferably convenience checks) randomly?

I'm debating closing my Fid Amex before the transition. This will be the deciding factor.

Re: US Bank BTS?

They're targeted.  I get them all the time.  YMMV depending on your credit profile so I'm not sure how practical of a deciding factor that may be.

Re: US Bank BTS?

US Bank sends me BT checks about twice a month.  I am not sure about the fees/terms, I never read them.  It seems they send them out about as often as Barclays.

Oh yeah! Will most definitely keep them around with the hopes that I become targeted when in need.

Re: US Bank BTS?

I have 2 Cash+ cards and a Fred Meyer (Kroger card).

Each of the Cash+ gets a BT offer each month, each with a 0% APR then the option for a few months more at a low APR, both options with a fee that is around 3%. They've been getting wired BT Fee amounts like 2.9%.

The FM card also gets offers monthly.

With US Bank, you have to check the mailer closely each month. Last month I got a 2% BT fee offer for the FM, so used that one. The month before and after? 3% fee.

My oldest USB card is working on a 0% APR 3% fee offer that came in late 2014, 18 month term originally, when the months before and after we're not 0% APR. They called me in late Sept 2015 to offer to extend the term, continuing the 0% APR, for a 3% fee on that balance. Not the best terms, but I took the extension anyway. I think they were dialing for dollars for a Q3 2015 revenue / fee  goal.

+1 I get this every month like a clock works, but always with a 3% /4% fee though

Re: US Bank BTS?

I get them all the time but not interesting offers at all with 3% or 4%. They really lack attractivity Smiley Mad

edit: on Fidelity Rewards Visa I have not yet seen any BT offers as new account and offers started at the 9 months mark on Cash+ So we will see what Elan has to offer later on

Re: US Bank BTS?

I haven't gotten anumber yet on my Cash+ that I got last May. I'll look forward to it. What kind of lengths do they generally offer? Did they start within the first year?
