The 6th statement on my US Bank Platinum cut last Thursday so I decided to go for a CLI in the hopes that if approved I could turn around and PC it into a 2nd Cash+. Went online Friday and filled out the CLI request and got the 7-10 day message. Does this mean it was denied? Has anyone gotten a CLI approval after getting the 7-10 message? Any suggestions for how to push this through?
What's strange is I have not seen anything come through for a HP (they usually pull TU), so I'm hoping if denied it's at least an SP denial....
Let me know the results....I have been kicking around the idea of requsting a cli on my cash+

I did an online CLI request with US bank on my Platinum card a few weeks ago and also got he 7 to 10 day mesage. No Hard pull, no CLI and never got any letter.
I would call them and do the request over the phone. I have to say, they are my least favorite bank to deal with on CC and the gap with my next lest favorite Wells fargo...is huge.. Everything is manual, takes days and days and the reps havent got a clue whats going on.
I tried to convert my Platinum to a CASH+ and they put in the request for that and said a CLI request would be done at the same time. A week later my account shows that it is now a Cash Rewards card and no CLI. I called them and the rep insists that I was approved for the CASH+ PC. I told them that on my end it shows as a Cash Rewards card which I dont want. They still insist it is a CASH+. Im so over it with them. When the card comes and its a Cash Rewards, im just gonna call and close it. I dont wnat the card that bad.
Underwriters like to review most CLI at US Bank so you may still get a CLI. Good Luck!

I will give it a few days. I really like the flexibility of the Cash+ categories, but I'm not going to hang on to the Platinum just for the heck of it. I only have a $1000 CL on it (by far my lowest). I would have litte use for a Cash Rewards card either. Just if they deny the request, I'll just cut it and close the account.
As far as their online and phone customer service, I agree it is subpar for a bank of their size. However they do have some very competitve products which is what keeps me as a customer. Most of my business is done at the local branch.
