Looking for data points on a 6 month CLI for my Cash+ card. I have found a few links on the subject but I can't seem to find to much info on cards that started with the famous $500 SL. I tried to recon my starting limit but no dice for me, rightfully so since my score was 675 with a tax lien and and a medical collection, now my report is clean except a 30 day late 3 years ago on a car payment and my score is 730. My 6 months is coming up in 2 weeks and was wondering the best way to request a CLI. I have seen the link for the CLI but I also ran across this on US Bank website.
Important Facts:
Any tips would be greatly appreiciated.

Important Facts:
- Cardmembers who have a Visa Signature®, World MasterCard® or a FlexPerks® Travel Rewards American Express® Card do not have a traditional credit limit and will need to call Cardmember Service to increase their Revolving Line of Credit.

I may be wrong, but I think every CLI request with an increase greater than $1500 will result in a HP. There's a link floating around on the forum somewhere that should work. I've had the Cash+ almost 2 years and have received one auto CLI of $2500 (from $5000 to $7500) that came after about 9 months. Haven't sought another increase since then, but have always had good experiences with U.S. Bank customer service over the phone.
Is your card a Visa Signature card? If not, just go ahead and use the CLI link: https://www.usbank.com/splash/credit-cards/credit-line-increase.html
Have never called to request a CL increase. Just after 1 year I got an automatic increase, and the following year they sent an email letting me know that another CL increase available with a link to a website to except the offer. Year three they sent an email, which was followed a week later with a letter in the mail. My CL is 3X the original limit but it took 3 years. (5000 to now 15000).
Hope you get more current info from other posters.

Yeah it's a signature card, sounds like I will have to call in. Might be with the hard pull if I can get a good CLI. I am pre approved for a few of their cards now and I wasn't before so it might be worth the gamble.

If you have one of the Cash+ $500 VISA Signature cards, then technically there is no credit limit. That is what the language means "you don't have a traditional credit limit". You should be able to try charges over the $500 limit, and have the statement report more than $500. You do need to pay it down to below the $500 by the due date, because you need to return the open balance to under the $500 limit quickly, but look closely at your documentation that came with the card. They can decline charges over $500, but then you just use another card.

Wow, I had no idea it was like a charge card. I will have to back and look at my card agreement, not that I would want to use it like thats but some good info. Thank you

The downside of that would be having over 100% UTIL on a card, since the CL reports.
OP, I'd recommend doing a search for "us bank ancient CLI Link" in the Approvals board (I posted it there awhile back). You can use that to request. Members have found that CLI requests under $1500 are typically SP, but requests over $1500 may be HP.
