Thanks guys for the number.

I have heard the card need to be at lease 8 months old and best over a year to get a CLI

@Anonymous wrote:What is the number you called to apply? I don't live near a branch at all but want the card. Thanks!
1-800-444-1244 is the # to app
There you go. That's the number that I called in to.
They may not give an instant result; my app was sent in for verification and it took full 7 business days. For app status, call 1-800-947-1444.
Yeah you can get ready for a review, my FICO was over 800 when I apped and didn't know until the next day that I was approved

Its easier to get approved or recon if you apply at a branch with a banker that can call back office and argue for you. Instore branches are ideal for this.
@Ghoshida wrote:So about Cash+, when do rewards show up?
I will remember to redeem once I reach $100 (but given all the nerfing news, it might take me a while to get there).
IIRC they show up quickly but they're instantly available for redemption. I think they become available at close but I'm not sure. You can click around in your rewards details to view the rewards you've earned since last statement and the rewards balance available. IIRC restaurants aren't nerfed until 2015.

I wasn't that good. I was low 700s but after the CSP approval, was on a high note and applied. The phone lady said the system recommended approval but they needed to still send the app in for "verification". It was there that the app got stuck. Every time I called in (after getting a UW) I was told that the credit department has cleared my app but there was some "verification" needed and they won't tell me what.

Thanks ! SP / HP experiences? Auto-CLI or customer initiated?
Mixed results and YEMV. If your account is pre-qualified for a SP CLI, they will indicate so (sometimes they send out emails if you qualify via this route). Auto-CLIs do occur depending on your account's history, usage and SP information. Otherwise, it's usually HP.

Thanks Takeshi.
I am checking the online account. The rewards section shows "pending" even a few days after the charges get posted. My REI account always shows on the statement; I'll hold on for a while and see maybe in a week or so it'll get clear.
