US Bank In Branch Offer $50

Stopped by my local US Bank branch to deposit some cash and went inside for fun and saw some offers. One of them was for credit cards.

Perks + - Cash + - Platinum <---- Any of those cards

Spend more then $25 3 seperate times in the first 90 days and then go back and talk to a banker and they'll credit an account with $50.

I grabbed the little handout thingy but forgot it in my truck. I can nab it later and upload a pic if people want.

Im in the Twin cities area of Minnesota for those that are curious. Anyone else run accross this?

Is this for existing card holders? or only if you apply for a new card?

Nevermind. It was faster for me to visit a Twin Cities Minnesota US Bank and obtain the flier in person Smiley Wink

Any new US Bank credit card can earn YOU a $50 bonus.

Available in branch only.

Apply at any Branch for any new US Bank credit card between June 20 and August 10, 2015 and upon approval qualify to earn a $50 bonus.

1) Apply and get approved for any US Bank credit card

2) Activate your new card, then make five separate net purchases of $25 or more at Gas Stations, Grocery Stores and/or Office Supply Stores.

3) Visit your US Bank branch to verify your purchases with a banker.

Upon verification, a friendly banker will deposit $50 into your US Bank Checking or Savings account. You must have a US Bank Checking or Savings Account in order to redeem.

I got my Cash+ as a part of opening a checking (with free $75 after spending $75 or something like that). I had a 741 TU at the time.

I've also earned $50 gift card by using their SMART savings and getting $1000 into that account. I haven't decided whether I'll leave the $1000 there for a year to earn another $50. I likely will, as that ends up being 5% interest. I might have to check out whether that's better than 3% with compounding. Smiley Happy

You also get a the gold checking package free with a CC with them. Some not bad perks with US Bank for me so far.

Re: US Bank In Branch Offer $50

Hmm 741 Im still stting around 715 EX-from FNBO.

Those are a nice little set of perks. Where is this 3% compounding interst coming from!?Smiley Frustrated

I opened a checking/savings about a year ago but only got the 1% cash back card. I tried calling and "no offers to upgrade".  Ive added few thousand in CLIs since my FNBO free fico has updated. So I will prob jump on this offer later.

What 5% catagories do you use? I would for sure use Cell phone bill, not sure about the other one.
