US Bank has NEVER been a fan of myself. I've only applied twice (both times over 18months ago) and always got auto-declines. When I would check their website I always got the "sorry, how about a debit card option?" lol
I saw c00mtg post and thought I'd see if anything has changed. Today I actually got a different result, 2 cards both at 16.99%. I have no prior relationship with US Bank so I'm not sure how solid these are or if it's worth jumping in their bed...
Is US Bank a fairly conservative bank? Anyone think they have anything special to offer. I've gotten so used to being denied by them that I've never considered rolling them into my lineup. Has this bank loosened up their grip or did I just cross over that magic line where they're arent completely inconvenienced by just looking at me
US Bank Cash+ Visa Signature, 0% APR for 15 Cycles, 16.99% APR, $0 Annual Fee
US Bank Cash 365 American Express, 0% APR for 15 Cycles, 16.99% APR, $0 Annual Fee
Same offers I got yesterday credit crack man..lol
I applied yesterday afternoon. Didn't get a instant decline. The standard message for me is the 7 to 10 manual review. I don't have a banking relationship with them. Trying to establish that with at least a $5k SL card. If not I'll cancel it like the last one they issued me.
Until now I've never had any offers from them.
By the way, you have any credit you can sell me on the low, low? Lol
Does anyone know the direct automated line for application updates?
Me either crack guy. US Bank appears to be stepping up their game in the credit card department. Chase, Citi, Capitol One, Synchrony bank and BofA are killing them in that area.

I don't but you can bet I'll be hunting for it lol just dropped in the app and got the same result as you, 7-10 days

Instantly got my alerts too..looks like they pulled TU for me...currently my highest score at 783 so at least I got my best foot forward lol let's see what happens now!
Me and you are right there together! Lol
Same results for me as well.
All though in the end. I'll either be given a toy limit or declined and you'll get $20k off the rip! 😂
My TU is a 779 currently with 30 active accounts reporting 19 closed.

it is odd we get such varied results with similar stats...the last month my luck has been good, but I think this app is pushing it. I was just reading around and I see a lot of $1k limits, but I saw just as many posts saying you can call back and recon up to $5-$10k using the same HP so if i get a low limit I know there should still be wiggle room
I just called 800-947-1444 from the backdoor list. It was listed 'underwriting' but when I called it, it was a fully automated status application line. Ask for SSN and zip, mine said "your application is still under review..should hear from us in 3 business days...however apps requiring verification can take up to 7 days..."
so right now, still not a denial! Woo-Hoo!
I apped last week. Got the 7-10 speal. Called on Tuesday said approved. Waiting for the package to know the terms.
It seems that being a prior customer of US Bank can increase the CC acceptance chance. Interested in the VS. The signup bonus of 200$ for checking/saving is expired some days ago and not a fan of opening accounts without bonus. Hope there would be some signup bonuses sometime soon....
