US Bank; What to do, what to do?

Re: US Bank; What to do, what to do?

I like that, "US Bank will still be there when I am ready." I do believe that. And I would like to add that when I received one of my statements and saw a $35 late fee but my payment wasn't late. I immediately calls Customer Service and the CSR quickly addressed it and kept apologizing. Gosh, it is so nice to come across a financial institution that sincerely cares. Or at least, makes me feel that way. Smiley Wink

Re: US Bank; What to do, what to do?

I have been a cardmember since 2005 or 2006, later last year I called to find out what I needed to pay to uncover my lower interest rate BT, knowing that I would have to pay the TOTAL balance because they will pay higher interest first... he quickly said, "would it help if we lowered your interest to 1.9"? ON THE WHOLE ACCOUNT?? Yes sir, 1.9 fixed for 9 months.... After that, I was even more in love than before! Customer Service has always been super nice, I once had to dispute a $2000 charge last year, they sided with me in the end and credit me back a year worth of interest charges on the account, not just interest for the 2k, it was over $800

Re: US Bank; What to do, what to do?

ok so I lied...I applied for a new card and it is just January....How am I gonna make it the rest of the year?!?!?!?

I applied last night and was denied, called  underwriting today and was told it was due to too many new accounts and inquires....They pulled TU and my score is 644 now--they look for 640 and no more than 2 inquires and new accounts in a six month period....I had 4 each....oh well

Maybe this will make someone cool their jets...thought i'd help out Smiley Very Happy

Okay, hold on a sec.  Is that no more than 2 new accounts AND 2 inquiries, or is it no more than 2 new accounts and inquiries TOTAL?

BTW, where are you that they pulled TU? If they pull TU, I might be okay. ;-)
