PS -- make sure you let me (err, us) know if you throw caution to the wind!
Well, I succumbed to temptation and applied. Got the dreaded 7-10 day message, but received an email today telling me that I've been approved. Don't know the CL yet, though.
Hey Cheech

Give 'em a call!
I called last night to ask if my card had been mailed. I rec'd what looked like a 'change in terms' letter, but after talking w/ the CSR, I think it was just the normal terms for the card (no changes). I got concerned that perhaps they'd already sent the card and something had happened to it. It was mailed out earlier this week, so I should have it soon.
The CSR was great -- even at 8PM on a Friday night! I asked her a few questions about BTs and she told me that there are actually multiple BT offers w/ my card. One was the 5.99 x 60 mo, another was 0.0 x 12 mo and the third was an offer similar to one of the others, but I can't remember exactly what it was. I know one of the three offers capped the BT fee at 100 bucks, the other two didn't.
I also asked about a CLI. I was interested to see if they'd consider one if I BT'd a larger amount. She said their policy is "wait 6 months and then try". Okay, I can do that.
I'm impressed so far!!!

Well, I called and it's only for 3K, but in these particular times, I'm not complaining. ;-)
