I applied for US Bank Cash + Visa Signature card two days ago through phone, though I got a local US branch here, I just want to save some gas. After the customer service personnel submiteed the app, he said it was a 7-10 message. So today I called the Recon number, the gentleman told me the system is still "processing" my order and he could not mannually review my order or overtune it before the result came out. He suggested my check the app result in another three or four days and call back if I have any concern then.
I've never heard of such things before. Everytime I call Recon number, it's approved or not. This time, the computer spent several days "analyzing" my application? Did the credit analyst just lied to me?![]()
Any help is deeply appreciated.

Thanks. Another question, can the underwriter or another phrase, credit analyst, see my US Bank CD and checking account daily average balance? I have to ask the local branch manger to send an recommendation letter? Or this doesn't help at all?

I have to agree with you. While in the bank, US Bank was able to immediately decline me for a cash+ last week, and immediately offer me $6.5K on a Cash Rewards instead. I plan to try for an upgrade this fall, when my Equifax score recovers and my age of open accounts is much better.
