So I got the jitters afterwards and called this morning to see if I could cancel the request. The underwriters didn't see one in their queue. While I had them there I asked for clarification about hard/soft since I had requested a 4K increase and if it was soft if I had asked for less. They could only be certain that when they pull it is hard, but it is believed to be soft when CS checks it (or rather references an existing soft pull?) I got transferred to CS to see if they could see my request via the form. They didn't see it either...they put me on hold to check with a supervisor on what could be done to cancel it. They came back and said they had made some notes so it was the best course of action they could take to have the request cancelled if it comes through.
Well, here I am, wondering and wondering, so I call the 1-800 number and check the automated info. For those of you familiar with at least this card, the US Bank site doesn't tell you your credit limit anywhere except in online statements. I don't have a statement coming for at least a week. Automated info said my revolve limit is $10,000
I'm locked out of the EQ/EX backdoors and only currently have a TU monitoring product. As far as I could tell, TU is the soft US Bank has been pulling for me. Maybe I'll sign up for USAA CCMP again tomorrow to celebrate and snoop Hopefully it sticks and they don't cancel my CLI after the fact lol.
I looks like your good to go congrats!! You made it to 5 digit CL! Thanks for sharing.
So I went ahead and requested a $1,500 increase on both my US Bank Cards (Platinum and College) Had them both with a $500 line since I turned 18 in 2008...I sure hope they give it to me and allow me to do a PC to a different card or I am gone....Chase/Amex/Citi throw credit at me and I have been banking with US since I was 13 (knew a branch manager)
Hmm hopefully they provide you with that CL, keep us up to date, and GL!
Tried out the US Bank online credit limit increase for the first time. Requested the max increase of $7,500 online about a week ago. A few days later got a HP on TU. Not surprised as I believe my account will continue to be inelgible for SP CLIs forever. Not sure why that is. Got the full $7,500 increase but will recon that and see if I can an even higher limit. A 12.5K limit still seems like an insult for a card that's been open nearly a decade and am now running 10-15K through them every month.
I know this is 7 months since the last reply but just for the record I had a US Bank Platinum with a $6000 limit for 6 months or so then they said an offer existed where I could PC to Cash+ so I did. Then about 6 months or so after that they auto CLI'd me to $9K, 1/2 available as cash. I have been banking with them for over 5 years. I started out not even two years ago with a college student Visa. One day a branch manager said he could PC the student Visa to a Cash Rewards. Then maybe there months or so after that I was in the same branch and one of the tellers said there was an offer on my account for a US Bank Platinum Visa. I said no for a couple of weeks but he kept asking. I said no because I knew my score would come up if I waited a while. After a couple more weeks I said yes. He ran my credit on the spot and I was instantly approved for the US Bank Platinum with a $6000 limit and the story continues from the top. I should also mention that initially I transfered $5500 in other credit card debt to the Platiunum card (0% 15 month transfer offer) and paid imost of it then transfered the rest off of the card (after it became a Cash+). That's about the time they auto raised my limit to $9000. It really helps to have a personal relationship with the bank. Using the same branch make a difference especially when dealing with the same bankers repeatedly.
Old thread but the link in the OP is valid. I didn't have the option to request a CLI via the US Bank site so I used the link in the OP. Incurred an HP with TU and got the CLI.
For anyone that might find this useful:
The link still works. I used it because it's similar to the link for my other US Bank credit card, the REI Visa. I had used the REI Visa one about 10 days ago and got a $2k increase, the line became $5k. (They still won't PC it because it's co-branded, but that's another story)
Then I used this one about a week ago for my US Bank Cash+. My current revolving limit is $8.5k. I asked for a $1.5k increase to round it off to $10k (I like rounded figures). Can't see the limit online but got a mail yesterday from US Bank and found that it was approved.
A reason why I asked small limits is because I read somewhere on this forum that low requests are granted with SPs even though they won't tell you so. I'm using CK to monitor my TU and so far, no HPs were made for either CLI requests. However, of late CK is getting known for messing up some HP records (or, that's what TU is feeding CK and hopefully lenders as well) so I'm not 100% sure.

Update: Checked TU report and no HP from US Bank.
This is an old thread.... But glad it worked.
