US CC without Foreign Transaction Fee?

Does anybody know of a US based CC that does not have a fee for a foreign purchase. Chase just dinged my almost 3% on the last one.

I believe (could be wrong) that Cap 1 has no FTF.

Re: US CC without Foreign Transaction Fee?

Chase Sapphire Preferred has no longer foreign transaction free they send me a notification 2 weeks ago. But I think Cap One does not have foreign transaction fees at all.
Amex (3), Chase (2), Cap One(2), USAA (1), NFCU (1), Citi (2) Nordie Store Card, VS, BB Store card and HD store card......

Re: US CC without Foreign Transaction Fee?

At this point, you may want to look at Chase BA. 100, 000 bonus BA miles and no FTF. (This is if you don't mind an AF). I wont mind paying an AF once to get 100k miles...

oh, yes a decen CL in most cases. Most Cap1 cards CL may good for nothing when you are traveling.

Re: US CC without Foreign Transaction Fee?

Thanks everyone.

Capital One works for me. I probably would not have thought of that without your help.

I was sure I had some card that had no fee but hadn't bought anything recently from outside the US. It seems these banks have changed just about every thing about themselves. Chase was really wierd - I actually got the product from UK before Chase charged me the fee.

Airline miles with a fee would be a bad deal for me as I can mostly fly for free - not that I have any time to go anywhere, anyway.
