USAA Luv button

I've had USAA credit card for over 3years and they have not increased my credit limit, but all my other cards have automatically. Should I hit the luv button or leave it be; especially since it'll be a Hard pull?

I used my USAA fairly hard during the first year, and on my anniversary (or around it) they gave me a $1400 auto-CLI, so occasionally they still do give 'auto-luv'.

As for if you should use the button or not, you're right that it will be a HP, but historically they have been generous when people took the HP.

The question is, would a higher credit line make a difference to you?

If so, then I would take the HP and see what they will offer.  If not, I would pass and relegate it to the SD, and use it for the occasional cash advance (no-fee to USAA checking) and for overdraft protection.  This is what I'm doing with mine now.  Smiley Wink

Re: USAA Luv button

Personally, I would leave it alone. Have you thought about a Cap1 Venture card to hopefully get a nice limit?

Re: USAA Luv button

I got my card around March this year with a 16K starting limit. I put a BT on it for a 0% 18 month. I hit the love button the other day and got a 14K CLI. I was not expecting that but aam very happy. It wouldn't hurt to hit it IMO.

For overdraft protection to a USAA checking account, you link the card on their website... it only takes a second.  Smiley Wink

For a cash advance, you would select that option from the 'Tools' drop down on the home screen (while logged in).  Your card number will already be present, but they will require you to enter the CVV from the back of the card and the expiration date.  The amount is credited to your USAA checking right away, and there's no cash advance fee (interest does start accruing immediately, though).  The daily limit is $2500 (I'm not sure if this is universal or specific to me, so your own daily maximum might vary).

Hope this helps!  Smiley Wink

Wow!  Now that's how it's done!  Smiley Very Happy

This is making me consider giving my own 'button' a try!
