I'm so excited! I didn't even think I would be eligible to get a USAA account, but sure enough I was eligible and they approved me for 3,000.00 limit with 0% for 12 months. By far my biggest limit post BK7 that was discharged march 2011. I've read good things about USAA, do they give auto cli? Any info would be helpful. I plan on using this to consolidate a few small balances, total under 500.00 and paying it off over the course of the year. I see it also applies to convenience checks, so i might go buy the new washer and dryer i so desperately need. woo hoo!

You will be so happy with USAA, I have two credit card with them and a cheque and savings and I love them! Better them PenFed FCU.
I'm not sure what it means to be a partial or full member? I'm guessing a full member because I had to call them and they asked about my dad being in the military and such? So this is a card that will grow with me, huh? :-)
I have not really read of anyone getting auto CLI's with USAA but their CSR's are super friendly. I kept my CC open for a year and called in. They raised me from 12K to 16K. I was carrying a balance of about $2500 at the time. I am a full member (ex-Navy) but I don't think that made a difference on the CLI request. If you are a partial member it just limits what cards are available as far as their credit goes.
The one difference that seems to be noted is full members seem to get pre-approvals under My offers hat partial members do not. And their pre-approvals are as close to guaranteed as you get.
Congrats, I just applied for a USAA Rewards MasterCard Credit Card and was approved with a 4K CL with a EQ FICO score of 683. I'm also a full member.
Congrats just got approved myself for the World Master Card been trying for years been a member since '05

Congrats on your new card! If your dad is still active, or is retired military, you may also be eligible for Navy Fed. USAA is definately one that will grow with you, and many users here have posted positive experiences in dealing with them Congrats on your new card and good limit!
Big congrats! I too was approved for a World MC last week, received the card this past Monday...super fast. I have wanted a card with them since the late 90s - mission accomplished.
