USAA limitless

Out of curiosity, has anyone any info when the USAA limitless will be rolled out to the rest of the states? I am hoping for July, but we will see.

Wish I had seen this before I applied for two cards from them.  I just got approved for both of thier cash back rewards cards.  I would have loved to have this card.  Guess I need to contact chat and see if I can get this one.

Re: USAA limitless

Last thing I wsa told by CSR was general role out in "summer," so take it with a grain of salt whenever that is.

I've been waiting patiently also for it. I have the Amex cashback rewards with them, but it would be nice to get 2.5% on everything.

I live in Alaska, so I imagine we will bel ast to get it. The rest of the US seems to forget about us, or act like we live on Mars.....

Definitely not in Ohio, yet, I am in the middle of moving my checking accounts to USAA and the rep mentioned it to me, but said "by the end of the year".

"This product is currently available to members residing in the following states: AL, AR, AZ, CO, CT, FL, GA, HI, ID, IL, IN, KS, LA, MD, MI, MN, MT, ND, NM, NV, NY, OR, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX and WA. It will become available in additional states at a later date."

At first, they were rolling out a couple states at time every month or so, but they have not added any new states in about 3 months or so. Hopefully the rest come soon, but who knows.

Re: USAA limitless

VoltaicShock: The Amex cash back is a pretty good on for fuel cash back. The other is a standard 1.5% cash back, which is ok. Rates are pretty fair with good credit. There is a total credit limit with USAA of $50K. If you have $50K credit limit between all the USAA cards, then it would be an automatic denial for the limitless, assuming your in a state where you can apply.

JMC907: That is the last I heard as well, roll out to the rest of the states in summer. I guess I posted because the waiting is irritating. Smiley Mad I think Alaska is at least half way to Mars, isn't it? Smiley Wink

barbaralee: That is concerning, "end of the year"? Both JMC097 and myself  recall "in the summer". I guess technically that could be end of August.

YupYup413: I know, right? If they continued to roll out a few stated every month, at least there would seem to be progress. It just stopped. I would call a USAA rep, however, I am sure they are not privy to the information either. Just the water fountain scuttlebutt.

Thanks for the replies.

Re: USAA limitless

I love this card! The Cashback adds up fast with it. In talking with a rep from the office of the CEO, it looks like this card will make it past the pilot stage and be a permanent card. In the past they said these pilot programs tend to stay.

+1

I'm loving it as well... I've actually started using it in place of my precious Sam's Club MC for travel/restaurants.  Smiley SurprisedSmiley Very Happy

Even though it's 2.5% compared to Sam's 3.0% for restaurants and travel, it's so darn hassle-free it's worth losing the 0.5% difference.  Having access to the cash back as soon as the charge posts as well as being able to transfer the rewards right into checking is about as good as it gets.

I'm thinking it's here to stay as well.  While anything is possible, I really can't see them doing away with it after rolling it out to this many states.
